Managing Director, Investment Banking - New York, NY (Eddid Securities USA)

Job description :

Responsibilities :

Head of Innovation Business / VP of Innovation Business (Innovation Business Department)

THE ROLE :

 

Reporting to the Group CEO, the major responsibilities of the HIB is to explore the potentials of our Group’s innovative capabilities and the business opportunities in the financial and fintech markets. The appointed will proactively explore key areas for innovative transformation, develop plans according to varying timelines, and manage these processes by aligning innovation goals with the company's broader business objectives.

Trade and Operations Manager - New York, NY (Eddid Securities USA)

Responsibilities :


l  Partner with CEO and senior management to work on day to day operations of the firm

l  Serve as the FINRA registered Principal Operations Officer (POO)/Registered Option Principal

l  Provide regulatory oversight, risk management and policy implementation for broker-dealer financial and operational regulatory responsibilities

l  Provide direction and guidance to firm leadership on financial and operational matters affecting compliance with FINRA and SEC regulations

l  Identify, assess and communicate new or changing regulatory requirements and proactively develop policies and procedures to address changes in regulation

THE ROLE :

l  Monitor the usage of the risk limits. Investigate and raise questions to the business in case of abnormal risk limit usage

l  Assist in operational risk management, including KRI, RCSA, operational risk incidents collection and analysis, etc

l  Produce ad hoc risk analysis reports to the senior management

l  Other ad hoc risk management related projects as request

 

Requirements :

 

l  Degree holder with major in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related disciplines

l  1-3 years’ relevant risk experience within banking or financial services or relevant experience in internal control or auditing

l  Fresh Graduates are welcome

l  Good analytical and problem solving ability

l  Good inter-personal and communication skills

l  Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage

l  Proficiency in Excel VBA would be an advantage
